The quality of injection on diesel engines is a decisive factor in optimising their efficiency and thus reducing fuel consumption and pollutant emissions.
The injection actuator is at the heart of controlling the amount of fuel injected into the engine cylinders. Thanks to a hydraulic amplifier, the injection actuator generates the displacement of the needle from the injector outlet port. It is activated by an electrical control circuit driven by the engine control system.
Constant development work on this product family allows injector actuators to adapt to the evolution of diesel systems, including the multiplication of the number of injections per cycle. The latest generation of injector actuators has been developed to be integrated into a closed-loop control system.
